Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to build my website?

Most projects take around 8~ weeks from kickoff to launch. Timelines can vary wildly, depending on how quickly feedback comes back from both ends: ours and yours.

What do I need to provide?

First, we send you links to our content questionnaire. Next, we just need some basic info about your business, your logo and brand guide (if you have one), and any photos and text copy that you have prepared or would like to use. If you have any marketing materials, we’d love to get our hands on them to help us better understand your brand and story. We perform keyword and competitor research based on your questionnaire feedback and can help you write the content for your website, too.

Do you offer hosting?

Hosting isn’t included in the package, but we offer it as an add-on and will set everything up for you. We recommend a local company, Hosting Nation, that provides excellent support and rarely has any downtime. We also offer shared hosting at a reduced rate for those with a one-page website who are more concerned with costs.

What platform do you build on?
We build on WordPress, the world’s most widely used website platform. It’s flexible, easy to update, and yours to keep.
What happens after launch?
We offer website maintenance plans for ongoing support, updates, and peace of mind. Highly highly highly recommended. We do not have a single client without one. Websites without proper maintenance tend to face plenty of issues that can be prevented or addressed quickly. It doesn’t matter who builds the website, if it isn’t maintained you’ll most likely have a dead site in a year or less.
How many revisions do I get?
You’ll have up to a couple of rounds of revisions for each stage (website copy and design). We find this keeps things moving without sacrificing quality.
How much does a website cost?
Our websites typically range from $2,000 to $8,000 depending on the size and scope of the project. A single-page site sits at the lower end, while a multi-page site with more custom features will be higher. We’ll give you a clear quote after your clarity call.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! For larger web builds, we offer structured milestone payments (such as a 50% deposit upfront and 50% prior to launch). We also offer flexible Buy Now, Pay Later options directly through our secure FreshBooks portal via Afterpay (including interest-free 4-payment splits) and Affirm (for longer monthly installment plans). Ongoing support services are billed on simple, predictable monthly retainers.
Is a domain name included?
No, your domain is something you’ll purchase and procure own yourself, but we can assist in this if needed.. Easy.
Do I need to know anything about websites or tech?
Not at all. That’s kind of the whole point. We handle the technical side so you can focus on running your business.
Will my website show up on Google?
That’s the goal! We build every website with a strong SEO foundation, proper titles, meta descriptions, and keyword research are included from the ground up. True search engine authority takes time and consistency, but we make sure you launch with your best foot forward.
Can you redesign my existing website instead of starting from scratch?
Absolutely. If your current site just needs a refresh rather than a full rebuild, we can talk through what makes the most sense on your clarity call.
What if I need more pages added later?
No problem, your site can grow with your business. Additional pages can be added after launch as a separate project.
Do I need social media accounts or Google Business Profile?
Not required, but we’d recommend a Google Business Profile for sure and claiming your social media profiles (even if you don’t plan to use them). We offer digital marketing services beyond web design if you ever want help with that side of things too.
